Stefani came to us by way of Oregon and Ireland, where she worked in a busy veterinary clinic and found her passion. She is currently working towards her veterinary technician license with Penn Foster University. She is very excited to be a part of our team and enjoys working with both pets and their owners.

When not in the hospital, you can find her with her four children and husband, and usually with their dog, Tadgh, in tow!

Kalee graduated from Cohoes High School in 2014 and has been a resident of the Capital District for her entire life. Kalee started out as the nanny for Dr. LaMora’s son. However, she quickly discovered that she really enjoyed helping out with anything and everything in the hospital, whether it be reception, cleaning, or keeping pets company in the back. Kalee also really enjoys meeting your furry family members and getting to know our clients. In her free time, Kalee enjoys spending her free time with her newborn son!

Abby is a pre-vet student at the College of St. Rose. She studies a wide range of science courses that will prepare her for an education in veterinary medicine. Her goal is to one day earn her DVM degree. She has worked with all different types of animals in the past including horses, llamas, dairy cows, dogs and cats. Abby has a passion for working in the veterinary field and is excited to pursue it as a career in the future.

In her free time, you can find Abby reading a book by the pool, swimming in the lake, or on the golf course with her friends.

Cooper and Amber

Client Relations Specialists

Cooper and Amber are our resident office cats. Cooper came to us via Dr. LaMora, who found him at 8 weeks old nesting in her chicken coop at home (the chickens were NOT appreciative!). He can be found hanging out at the front desk greeting clients, eating, or lounging around in his pet bed next to Dr. LaMora’s computer.

Amber came from a local rescue group to keep Cooper company. She can usually be found in Dr. Quirk’s lap while the doctor is working on the computer.

Jackie joined BVH this past September ’20 after working in the catering industry for many years, in addition to the human medicine field most recently.

Born and raised right here in the capital region, Jackie has decided to follow her lifelong dream of working in veterinary medicine. Currently, she is pursuing her
Veterinary Technology degree through Penn Foster College. Since starting, Jackie has had an incredibly rewarding experience and is very grateful for her venture thus far. She loves creating positive client/patient relationships and is excited to grow with such a compassionate and knowledgeable team as she completes her education.

In Jackie’s spare time she enjoys crafting, trail riding, and relaxing with her cat, dogs, and bunnies.
