Associate DVM


In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to a variety of animals. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgeries, conducting wellness exams, and developing treatment plans. You will also communicate with pet owners about their pets' health, treatment plans, and preventive care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic assessments
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in animals
  • Perform surgical procedures, including spaying/neutering and other routine surgeries
  • Provide dental care and extractions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for sick or injured animals
  • Administer vaccinations and other preventive care treatments
  • Communicate with pet owners about diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality care


Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • State veterinary license in good standing
  • Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
