Meet Our Team

Dr. Nicole L. LaMora was born in Oklahoma on a military base and has had the incredible opportunity of living in many different states as her military family moved around. As a young child she always had a love for animals and a desire to help any animals that were injured or sick.

Dr. Heather Burrowes is originally from Long Island, New York but has made the Capital District her home for many years. Choosing veterinary medicine as her profession was an easy choice as she has always had a lifelong love of animals, biology and puzzle solving!

Born and raised in Ballston Spa, NY, Dr. Ryan Sherwood fell in love with veterinary medicine when he was five years old and listened to his cat’s heartbeat through a stethoscope. Another Capital District veterinarian fostered this love throughout his childhood by engaging Dr.

Born and raised in Albany, NY, Dr. Hannah Grant knew she had a passion for animals, the environment, and how humans interact with them since she was a small child watching Discovery Channel and National Geographic.

Several years ago, Adrie decided to pursue a career and education in the veterinary field and hasn’t looked back since!

Erin was excited to join the Brunswick Veterinary Hospital in June of 2021. Erin is a 2012 graduate of Alfred State College and has been a licensed technician since that time. Her favorite parts of working in veterinary medicine are surgery and client education.

Kristen graduated from State University of New York at Delhi and has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2017. Her favorite things in the veterinary field are venipuncture, exotics, and client education.

Breeana joined our team in August of 2023. She found her passion for animals when taking a Zoology course at SUNY Plattsburgh for her biology degree. Her favorite part of her job is meeting other animal lovers and greeting all of the patients.

Chris is a veterinary assistant that has been with Brunswick Veterinary Hospital since 2016.

Jen has been with the team at BVH since May 2020. She previously worked as a receptionist in the human optometry field for over 13 years before pursuing her desire to work around animals.

Kalee graduated from Cohoes High School in 2014 and has been a resident of the Capital District for her entire life. Kalee started out as the nanny for Dr. LaMora’s son.

Stefani came to us by way of Oregon and Ireland, where she worked in a busy veterinary clinic and found her passion. She is currently working towards her veterinary technician license with Penn Foster University.

Vicki joined our hospital in August 2019 all the way from California. She has been in the veterinary field since 2001 and is currently pursuing her Veterinary Technician degree through Penn Foster.
