Meet the Doctors

Nicole L. LaMora, DVM

Dr. Nicole LaMora

Dr. Nicole L. LaMora, owner of the Brunswick Veterinary Hospital, attended The Ohio State University and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Animal Science in 1996. After several years working as a Diet's Specialist for the El Paso Texas Zoo, and also as a Customs Inspector and dog handler for the Department of Homeland Security Dr. LaMora was admitted to Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

As a veterinary practitioner, Dr. LaMora's top priority is to provide quality care to her patients. She likes helping people and pets with their problems and enjoys the detective work that goes into the more difficult to solve cases. Equally important to her are the relationships she creates with both her patients and their owners, and she enjoys helping to strengthen the bond we have with our pets.

Dr. LaMora is married to her husband of 20 years, Brandon and they are proud parents of a very active four year old. They also currently share their house with 1 dog, 2 cats, 5 horses, 1 donkey, and 5 goats! She enjoys horseback riding, cross stitching, reading, and spending time with family, friends, and pets.

Kaitlin Quirk, DVM

Kaitlin Quirk

Dr. Kaitlin Quirk is originally from Guilderland, New York. She attended Cornell University receiving her undergraduate degree in 2009 and her veterinary degree in 2013.  Following graduation, she did a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery and then worked in a general practice in Manhattan. She moved back to the Capital Region in the fall of 2016 and joined the Brunswick Veterinary Hospital in the Spring of 2018.

Aside from her medical interests, Dr. Quirk enjoys reading, travel, horseback riding and all things Disney. She also enjoys relaxing with family and friends, including her cat Melody and her horse Rocky.

Rebecca Stanclift, DVM, DACVS

Dr. Rebecca Stanclift

Dr. Stanclift is the owner and surgeon for Northeastern Veterinary Surgery, a practice dedicated to increasing the availability of advanced surgical services for pets by bring these services to the local veterinary hospital.

Dr. Stanclift is a native of the northern Adirondacks. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the John Wiley Jones School of Business at S.U.N.Y Geneseo in 1992. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.

Following graduation, Dr. Stanclift continued her education with an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Sonora Veterinary Specialists in Phoenix, AZ. She then served as a clinical instructor at Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Her formal surgical training includes a one-year surgical internship at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Maitland, FL and a residency in small animal surgery at the Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. She achieved board certification by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2009.

Dr. Stanclift has a strong interest in continuing education. In addition to regularly attending CE, she has authored numerous publications and lectured in both local and national forums. She is a member of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, the Veterinary Orthopedic Society, the Eastern Veterinary Orthopedic Society, the American Veterinary Medical Association, New York State Veterinary Medical Society, and the Capital District Veterinary Medical Society.

Dr. Stanclift offers a full complement of surgical services that can be provided to patients of the Brunswick Veterinary Hospital, including TPLO's (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy), anal sacculectomy's, tail fold caudectomy's, TECABO's (Total Ear Canal Ablations)  among many others.

Through the American Veterinary Medical Foundation’s Veterinary Care Charitable Fund, our hospital is able to help animals rescued from abuse and neglect and the pets of clients facing personal hardships.
